  If this week's New Scientist is to be believed, a recent study concluded that foxes would have made a better source animal for the domestic dog than wolves. Apparently they have a better innate ability to follow instructions and learn patterns of behaviour. With this in mind, isn't it time we had packs of foxes hunting dogs down in the English countryside?
